The seven-hectare resort has three wings—north, south, and center—with the convention and business facilities in one wing, the recreational and family activities in another. A shopping arcade of 10 boutiques retailing clothing, jewelry and souvenirs straddles the center and the north wings. A full-service spa with its own 25-meter pool is complemented by tennis courts, games room, water-sports activities, a children’s clubhouse, and lagoon pools. |
The Conrad is popular with meeting and conference groups. A conference center, with several ballrooms, meeting and function rooms, is set away from the main hotel area near the south wing for privacy. The business center is located with the main conference areas.
Business center: The 120-square-meter (1,300-square-foot) business center has two computers with high-speed Internet access (surcharge), one boardroom for up to 12, and two smaller rooms for up to five each. LCD screens, DVD players, portable fax/photocopy machines, and wireless Internet adapter cards can all be rented at the business center. Surcharges apply.
Internet access: Wireless Internet access is available in public areas including poolside and in the lobby and Suku Restaurant. High-speed Internet access is available in the business center. Charges are at IDR50,000 (US$5–$10) for 30 minutes, IDR90,000 (US$5–$10) for one hour, and IDR160,000 (US$15–$25) for 24 hours. Fee(s) subject to change without notice.
Conference/function room(s): The Conrad has three ballrooms ranging from 180 square meters (1,935 square feet) to 531 square meters (5,732 square feet). An outdoor function area is 300 square meters (3,273 square feet) and can take up to 140 in a cocktail set up. Six other meeting and board rooms range from 17 square meters (179 square feet) to 65 square meters (695 square feet).
The hotel has a full-day children’s program for children between three to 12 years of age. A kids’ club area with activity areas, a playground, and a turtle pond is also available. A games room with computers and games, movie screenings, and billiards caters to older children.
Child care/babysitting: The hotel has a drop-off children’s club program for children ages 3–12. Children under three must be accompanied by an adult at all times. The Kura Kura Club offers a daily schedule of children’s activities from morning till early evening. Activities include treasure hunts, shell collecting, fish feeding, mask making, face painting, snack time, lunch, arts and crafts, dress-up and dancing lessons, and others. A full day package is IDR70,000 (US$5–$10) per child; a half-day package is IDR40,000 (US$4.50) per child. Fee(s) subject to change without notice.
Facilities: The club house has a playground, indoor area with TV and game center, and an outdoor arts, crafts, and activities area. Children are not permitted to swim without parental or legal guardian supervision. Surcharges apply.
Equipment: Infant beds and high chairs are available for use on a complimentary basis. All special requests should be made prior to arrival and are subject to availability.
Other: A games zone on the ground floor has eight computers with pre-loaded computer games for children. There is also a billiards table and a raised carpeted platform with large-screen TV showing children’s movies.
